About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team providing care and delegated activities of treatment to patients with renal failure. The PCT works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN).

Responsibilities
  1. Patient care: Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment, including gathering patient stats, initiating and terminating treatment, monitoring patients, and collecting blood samples.
  2. Technician duties: Prepare dialysis machines, ensure cleanliness and safety checks, and follow quality control protocols.
  3. Safety and compliance: Use appropriate safety measures, adhere to company policies, and participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Interest in healthcare and patient care
  • Experience in healthcare, dialysis, phlebotomy, or CNA is a plus
Additional Requirements
  • Complete USRC training program within 8 weeks of hire
  • CPR certification within 90 days
  • Obtain Patient Care Technician certification within 18 months
  • Ability to distinguish primary colors
  • Comfort with mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol
