Job Title: Dialysis Patient Care Technician

Join Concerto Renal Services as a Dialysis Patient Care Technician. We are a leader in nursing home dialysis, committed to reimagining dialysis care through a convenient, centralized, and continuous care model for patients with end-stage renal disease.

Role Overview

The Dialysis Technician will be part of the healthcare team providing safe and effective dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include patient care, machine operation, and documentation, in compliance with regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Ensure excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Obtain and report vital signs, weight, and vascular access assessments.
• Set up, operate, and perform safety checks on hemodialysis machines.
• Initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments as prescribed.
• Administer heparin as permitted by law.
• Accurately document treatment data and patient conditions.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Prepare laboratory specimens as needed.

Physical Demands

• Must meet physical requirements, including standing, bending, and lifting.
• Must pass Ishihara's Color Blindness test.
• Work environment involves exposure to infectious materials and moderate noise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Minimum two years of dialysis technician experience.
• Valid dialysis certification.
