Job summary

Satellite Healthcare is seeking a Dialysis Patient Care Technician (Finance) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in our dialysis centers. You will greet patients, ensure comfort, advocate for patients, and communicate with the care team to deliver quality treatment on every shift.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, a CHT certification, CPR, and at least six months of hemodialysis experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Six months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician.
  • BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification, CPR certification; CA CHT certification required for CA locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under RN supervision on the treatment floor.
  • Greet patients and ensure their comfort throughout treatment.
  • Advocate for patients and communicate with the care team.

Dialysis Patient Care Technician (Finance)
Responsibilities
What you will do

As a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following Satellite policies and procedures per their state Scope of Practice, safely and efficiently. They will be the first team member to meet and greet patients on the treatment floor. Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians at Satellite are compelled to make the patients feel comfortable once they enter our centers and throughout the course of their treatment. The Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician will advocate for patients while they are at the unit, and effectively communicate with other team members any information pertinent to delivering quality care.

Minimum qualifications
Education

High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent

Experience

Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician

License/Certifications

BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification (per state regulations) California Department of Public Health CHT certification (required only for CA locations) Current CPR certification
