Job summary

Satellite Healthcare is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will greet patients on the treatment floor and help ensure they feel comfortable throughout their treatment.

You will advocate for patients, communicate with the care team, and deliver care in accordance with Satellite policies and state scope of practice, contributing to a compassionate, high-quality patient experience in our centers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Six months of active hemodialysis patient care experience.
• BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification.
• CA locations require California Department of Public Health CHT certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Greet patients on the treatment floor and welcome them to the center.
• Advocate for patients and communicate information to the care team.
• Deliver care in accordance with Satellite policies and state scope of practice.

Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians at Satellite are compelled to make the patients feel comfortable once they enter our centers and throughout the course of their treatment. The Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician will advocate for patients while they are at the unit, and effectively communicate with other team members any information pertinent to delivering quality care.

Education

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent

Experience

Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician

License/Certifications

BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification (per state regulations) California Department of Public Health CHT certification (required only for CA locations) Current CPR certification
