Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) with CCHT certification for our Wilmington, DE dialysis clinic. You will assist in patient care under RN supervision, set up and monitor dialysis machines, perform vascular access checks, document treatment data, and uphold safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state/national certification requirements within the required timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor hemodialysis machines.
• Take pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and cannulation as delegated.
• Set up dialysis treatment according to orders (QB, QD) and monitor alarms.
• Document treatment data accurately and timely.
• Report changes to the RN or supervisor and ensure infection control practices.
