Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Chicago Heights, IL is seeking a Dialysis Technician to join the dialysis health care team under RN supervision. You will set up and operate hemodialysis machines, monitor patients, record vital signs, and ensure a safe, clean environment.

This role emphasizes patient education support, infection control, and CQI activities. On-site, full-time position with 40 hours weekly; no prior dialysis experience is required as on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within the required state.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient education on adequacy monitoring and HD process.
• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines; monitor parameters and alarms.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data accurately.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices.
• Participate in CQI activities and track patient treatment progress.
