Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to assist with setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and to support infection control within a busy clinical environment. You will participate in patient education, monitor treatment responses, and document vital signs and treatment data under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CMS licensure requirements, and successful completion of the dialysis training program with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must meet CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.
• Continued employment depends on successful completion of dialysis training program and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and treatment parameters; document accurately.
• Evaluate vascular access and assist cannulation and heparin administration as delegated.
• Prepare and maintain cleanliness and infection control; ensure safety alarms and equipment checks are performed.
