• Assure patient safety and comfort during dialysis.
• Monitor vascular access patency and cannulation as directed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Take pre/post treatment vital signs and weight.
• Document treatment data accurately in the chart.
• Respond to alarms and intervene per physician orders.
• Maintain clean and safe treatment area and equipment.
