CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG in the United States seeks a dialysis assistant to support safe, effective dialysis therapy under RN supervision. You will help with patient education, monitor vital signs and vascular access, and ensure proper machine setup and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CMS certification, and current CPR. Travel between facilities may be required, with a focus on infection control and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state or national certification within the required timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.

Responsabilités

• Assist education on adequacy measures and dialysis processes.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and cannulation; administer heparin as allowed.
• Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight; assess vascular access pre-treatment.
• Initiate dialysis per orders with prescribed QB and QD; monitor and intervene as needed.
• Record treatment data and document vitals, UF goals, and machine parameters.
• Maintain safety alarms, infection control, prepare labs and specimens.
