Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
• CPR certification and willingness to complete dialysis training.

Responsibilities

• Assist other health care members with patient education on adequacy measures (OLC, AMP, UKM).
• Evaluate vascular access, cannulate, and administer heparin per orders or state law.
• Record vital signs, weight, and dialysis parameters; document accurately.
• Ensure safety alarms are enabled and monitor machine settings and alarms.
• Maintain infection control practices and clean dialysis environment.
• Support Transitional Care Unit activities and coordination with care teams.
