Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an experienced RN to lead dialysis services. You will supervise daily operations, ensure patient-centered care, and maintain compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BLS and ACLS current on hire.
• PALS or NRP current or obtained within 90 days of employment.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Coordinate, delegate, and oversee daily dialysis staff functions.
• Maintain competencies and skills checklists for dialysis staff.
• Maintain dialyis machines and ensure proper maintenance.
• Provide orientation to new dialysis staff and evaluate staff performance.
• Maintain physician order and contact system through staffing office; ensure access to dialysis services.
