Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of the UHS network, is seeking a Dialysis Supervisor RN to provide safe, patient-centered care across all ages and to lead the dialysis team in a fast-paced acute care environment.

You will supervise daily dialysis operations, ensure policy adherence, mentor staff, and maintain equipment and supplies while collaborating with physicians and leadership. California RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with acute care experience.
• Experience supervising nursing staff.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Current state RN license and BLS/ACLS.
• CPI certification or ability to obtain.
• PALS/NRP as required by specialty.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, competent nursing care following facility policies and philosophy.
• Lead and coordinate Dialysis staff daily operations.
• Develop and implement dialysis policies and procedures.
• Orient and evaluate new dialysis staff.
• Maintain supply levels and ensure equipment is properly maintained.

Position Description

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating patients of all ages. Coordinate, delegates, oversees the daily functions of the Dialysis staff. Provides supervision for team members in accordance with their level of training and the patient’s acuity.

Supervisory Duties; Responsible for implementing and maintaining the dialysis policy and procedures manual. Maintain competencies and skills check list for dialysis staff. Monitor and ensure dialysis machines are properly maintained. Provides orientation to new dialysis staff and evaluates dialysis staff performance. Provides easy access to dialysis services by maintaining the physician order and contact system through the staffing office. Maintain appropriate supply level of specialized dialysis products.

Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:

• Prefer one-year full time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting.
• Minimum 1-year supervisory experience
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• BLS and ACLS (current on hire) Current state nursing license.
• PALS or NRP (current or obtained within 90 days of employment) in required specialty. CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
