Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • At least 18 months of registered nursing experience
  • Dialysis Charge RN readiness approval by Clinical Nurse Manager or RN-licensed FA/GFA
  • Preferred: Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
  • Preferred: ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg experience
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N); B.S.N preferred; diploma from an accredited program may suffice
  • Training approved by medical director and governing body per CMS guidelines before operating water treatment system
  • Supervisory experience preferred; willingness and ability to supervise required
  • Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required
Position Details:
  • Coordinate ESRD patient care, monitor lab values, track vital signs, and manage outcomes
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate care
  • Training may occur at various facilities, including training clinics different from your assigned clinic
  • Potential to float among clinics during and after training
  • Flexible schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Build meaningful relationships with patients and families in an outpatient setting
  • Be part of a supportive, collaborative team within a small interdisciplinary clinical environment
  • Manage patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring tailored treatment plans
  • Oversee patient care with support from PCTs, including observations, stats, and machine setup
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with dedication and compassion
