Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver direct patient care and supervise other nursing staff in line with our professional practice model. You will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate care for patients and their families in collaboration with the care team.

Required is a nursing degree from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program and an Ohio license or interim permit. Background check and drug screen may be required after offer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program is required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit is required.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
