Job summary

The Ohio State University’s University Hospital East in Columbus seeks a Staff Nurse to manage and provide direct patient care, while directing and supervising the nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate care in line with the professional practice model.

Required is a nursing degree from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program and a current Ohio license or interim permit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program is required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care.
• Manage and provide care to patient and family and supervise other staff.
• Direct and supervise nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model.
