Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a nursing professional who recently graduated from an accredited nursing program. You will work as part of the hemodialysis team, providing safe and effective dialysis therapy under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse and working toward your nursing license within 90 days of hire.

The role includes patient care tasks such as vascular access evaluation, pre/post-dialysis assessment, vital signs, documentation, and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility preferred.
• Required to obtain nursing license within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and effective dialysis therapy under direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Performs vascular access evaluation and monitors patient vitals and response to treatment.
• Documents treatment data and lab specimens in patient health records.
• Maintains environmental integrity, cleans and disinfects equipment between treatments.
• Ensures accurate lab requisitions and specimen handling as required.
