Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a nursing graduate to join our dialysis team. The role involves working under direct supervision of a licensed nurse while pursuing licensure, with expectation to obtain nursing licensure within 90 days of hire.

You will participate in patient care activities, perform dialysis treatments, monitor vitals, and document patient progress in the health record. This position is based in our Indiana facility and offers on-site work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Must obtain nursing license within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work under supervision in a health care setting.
• Willingness to obtain required credentials.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular access evaluation pre-treatment.
• Performs and records Pre and Post dialysis evaluation, weight and vital signs with initial identification.
• Cannulates vascular access and reports difficulties to nurse supervisor.
• Initiates dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including QB and QD.
• Evaluates intradialytic problems and provides prescribed interventions.
• Monitors patient response to dialysis therapy and documents outcomes.
