U.S. Renal Care in Chatsworth, GA is seeking a Dialysis Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient care and clinic operations. The role involves handling treatment documentation, safety, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Under supervision of the Charge Nurse, you will maintain patient records, assist with lab-related tasks, and participate in ongoing training to ensure quality care and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state; license must be current.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Dialysis experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet state practice requirements for the applicable state.
• USRC training program competency within 8 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.
• May assist with billing log preparation and updates.
• Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis as required to complete physician orders.
• Complete and document monthly review of patient medication profiles.
• Knowledge of applicable healthcare practice acts and compliance.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in patient records of treatments and communications.
• Report significant information or changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Report machine problems to Biomedical Technician and Administrator.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings; participate in staff training as requested.
