Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a qualified nurse to provide direct dialysis patient care, monitor treatments, and educate patients and families about renal disease and dialysis therapies. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring safety, documentation, and adherence to treatment plans.

Requirements include an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and clinical nursing experience with dialysis or critical care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN) with current state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and perform dialysis procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor dialysis treatment parameters and document in the patient record.
• Educate patients and families about end-stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.
• Respond to emergencies and operate dialysis equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with Physician, Dietitian and Social Worker to coordinate care.
