Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN to join our dialysis team. You will provide direct patient care, perform dialysis procedures, monitor treatments, and document patient data according to plan.

The role requires current state licensure as an LPN/LVN, CPR certification, and ideally 1 year of medical-surgical or dialysis experience. You may travel between area facilities to support patient care in multiple clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN) with current state licensure.
• One year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to provide coverage at area facilities during short-staffing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patient(s).
• Perform all dialysis procedures and monitor treatments as prescribed.
• Document dialysis parameters and patient information in the medical record.
• Report significant changes or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Educate patient and family about ESRD, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.
• Assist with emergency procedures and maintain a safe environment.
• Initiate basic CPR in emergencies and respond to incidents.
• Safely operate dialysis equipment and ensure a clean, sanitary clinic.
• Travel between facilities as needed to support patient care.
