Job summary

The Staff Nurse at Ohio State University Medical Center's University Hospital is responsible for managing and providing care to patients and families, and for directing and supervising nursing care delivered by other team members.

This intermittent, first-shift position requires a nursing degree from an accredited program and current Ohio license or interim permit; experience in relevant care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care for patients and families as part of the patient-care team.
• Direct, supervise and delegate nursing care to other members of the care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing care according to the professional practice model.
