Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance/Technical professional responsible for the operational condition, maintenance, and repair of water systems, dialysis equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems to ensure patient safety.

You will assist in inventory, coordinate purchasing, document maintenance, perform safety checks, and support cost containment while adhering to FMCNA policies.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of technical experience in a hospital or industrial setting.
• Must demonstrate organization and leadership skills in a medical environment.
• Complete required technical training and comply with FMC policies and respiratory fit policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, tests and repairs water treatment, dialysis and related medical equipment and systems.
• Documents maintenance and safety checks; ensures environmental safety and housekeeping as required.
• Assists in inventory, ordering, receiving supplies, and SAP purchase orders; supports cost reporting.
• Performs patient-visible activities during treatment times and provides basic explanations of equipment.
