Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Maintenance/Technical Technician to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of water systems, dialysis equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems to ensure patient and staff safety at our Waynesboro facility.

The role requires at least six months in a technical/hospital setting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with adherence to FMCNA policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a technical/hospital setting.
• Must demonstrate organizational and leadership skills for problem-solving in a health care environment.
• Complete FMCNA technical training programs; respiratory fit policy adherence.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and ability to cover at other facilities and transport equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, tests and repairs water treatment, dialysis and medical equipment per manufacturer procedures and FMCNA standards.
• Documents maintenance and repairs; conducts safety checks and routine tasks; coordinates housekeeping and inventory.
• Performs clerical tasks: materials sampling, SAP purchase orders, and monthly/quarterly inventory reporting.
• Supports patient care activities by providing visibility in treatment areas and tours of equipment when requested.
