Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis equipment and water treatment systems across our clinics. You will train colleagues on operational maintenance to ensure patient safety and proper function of the dialysis systems.

You will manage inventory, coordinate with vendors, and support regulatory and OSHA requirements while contributing to a safe and efficient clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Successful completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant, as directed.
• Ensures outside vendor services are completed per contract.
• Purchases and retain an inventory of service parts.
• Performs, evaluates, and reports water/dialysate sample collection and any actions required.
• Documents all repairs and maintenance activity.
• Collaborates with facility staff to ensure regulatory and OSHA requirements are met.
• Manages inventory and assists with cost control.
