Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis and water treatment equipment across our kidney care clinics. The role includes training colleagues on maintenance practices and managing essential medical supplies to support safe patient care.

You will contribute to a rigorous preventive maintenance program, perform water testing and trend analysis, and collaborate with clinic staff to meet regulatory requirements, while pursuing opportunities for career

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in electronics/biomedical tech is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand tools and small power equipment.
Valid driver's license required; willingness to complete Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months.

Responsibilities

Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment and water treatment systems.
Maintains the physical plant and ensures contract vendor services are performed.
Manages inventory of service parts and coordinates deliveries between clinics.
Performs water/dialysate testing, analyzes trends, and reports required actions.
Participates in regulatory meetings and ensures OSHA requirements are met.
Provides on-call after-hours coverage as needed.
