Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County is seeking a full-time RN for a dialysis unit on a nights rotation with a 12-hour shift pattern. The role requires 1-2 call days per week, and 3rd Saturday and some Sunday call.

The unit serves inpatients and outpatients with dialysis needs, operating from 6:30 AM until procedures are complete. Preferred qualifications include a nursing diploma/associates, RN license, and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate's degree required.
• RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Promotes patient and family centered care and educates on illness management and home care needs.
• Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and documents plans of care with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Assesses patient needs and communicates plans across care continuum.
