Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking an RN for the Inpatient Acute Dialysis unit in Saint Louis, MO. This role covers Nights (7PM-7AM) with three 12-hour shifts weekly and on-call Sundays, requiring strong bedside care in a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have a Nursing Diploma/Associate's and RN license, with up to two years of hospital experience and dialysis exposure preferred. BJC offers sign‑on eligibility, 401K match, PTO and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Role requires direct patient care in a hospital setting.
• RN licensure and nursing degree required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management, home care needs and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
