St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the dialysis center. The role involves three 8-hour shifts per week, daytime hours Monday through Friday, with weekend, holiday, and on-call commitments as required by the department.

The RN will participate in the BJC Career Ladder, focusing on professional development, leadership, collaboration and service excellence while delivering high-quality care to pediatric patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible in Missouri.
• Nursing Diploma/Associate's required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Part-time benefits eligibility and participation in the BJC Career Ladder program.

Responsabilités

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management, including home care and medications.
• Develops and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals.
• Assess and address patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care.
• Maintain safety and quality standards as a safety-sensitive position.
