Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Dialysis Chronic Care Registered Nurse for a Bristol, TN assignment. The role requires 12 months or more of recent dialysis experience and includes 40-hour weeks, potential overtime, and floating to area sites.

You will perform hemodialysis nursing duties and coordinate care with the healthcare team. Required: graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 12 months or more of Recent Dialysis experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
• 1 year of Nephrology Nursing experience in the last two years as a RN.
• Chronic hemodialysis experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs systematic collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis and updates the plan of care.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents justification/effectiveness.
• Directs daily care and ensures safe delivery of hemodialysis.
• Provides patient/family education and supports transplant/treatment modality discussions.
• Collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Team to update outcomes and care plans.
• Floats to area sites within 50 miles of main site as needed.
