Job summary

Chateau Dialysis Center in Rochelle Park, NJ is seeking an experienced Dialysis RN to provide high-quality hemodialysis care and support. The role includes direct patient care, collaboration with physicians, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The RN will monitor treatments, administer medications per orders, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate documentation. NJ licensure, CPR/BLS, and dialysis EMR proficiency are required; RenVio and Outlook skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of dialysis nursing experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Dialysis EMR experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• RenVio experience preferred, but not required.
• Microsoft Outlook experience preferred.
• Nursing home experience is not required.
• Required health documentation includes Hepatitis B Antigen result, MMR, PPD or CXR, and H&P.

Responsibilities

• Provide and support dialysis nursing and patient care.
• Assess patient needs and provide appropriate patient care.
• Monitor dialysis treatments and patient conditions; communicate concerns to physicians.
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
• Ensure the safe operation and use of dialysis equipment.
• Admit new patients and provide education to patients and families regarding dialysis, diet, and medications.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Orient and monitor staff for compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in care plan meetings, staff meetings, QA activities, interviews, and special projects.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management as needed.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote efficient use of medical supplies and maintain a safe work environment.
