Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to lead direct patient care staff and ensure safe, high-quality dialysis services in our Oregon facility.

The role requires RN licensure, at least 12 months of nursing experience with 6 months in dialysis, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Supervisory experience is preferred, with adherence to all regulatory and company policies.

Qualifications

• RN license in the applicable state is required.
• Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience plus 6 months of specialized dialysis experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff.
• Participate in staffing, hiring, firing and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, policies and state/federal regulations.
• Oversee patient care plans and rounding discussions with physicians.
• Coordinate with Facility Administrator on staff and patient care issues.
• Supervise documentation and equipment use during dialysis.
