Qualifications

• RN license is required to practice nursing in the applicable state.
• 12 months of nursing experience plus 6 months of dialysis-specific experience are required.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support direct patient care staff and participate in annual performance evaluations.
• Coordinate staffing, hiring actions and disciplinary steps with Facility Administrator.
• Ensure compliance with all procedures, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee timekeeping and staff scheduling; approve changes when appropriate.
• supervise patient care during dialysis sessions and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Educate patients and families about dialysis therapy and safety procedures.
