Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Research Associate for a per diem position in clinical research conducted at dialysis centers across all five boroughs of New York City. The role involves data collection, patient interaction, and coordination with study staff to support multiple trials and cohort studies.

Flexibility for early morning shifts (as early as 4:00 a.m.) and evening shifts (after 6:00 p.m.) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Biomedical or Physical Sciences.
• Minimum two years of commitment required; position may last up to three years.

Responsibilities

• Train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in experimental design and performance.
• Generate hypotheses and designs and perform experiments to test them.
• Record all experimental findings in a lab notebook and interpret results.
• Prepare figures and diagrams for presentations/publications and communicate results to team.
• Contribute to grant proposals, annual reports, and manuscripts for publication.
