Fresenius Medical Care in Whiting, NJ is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) with training provided to join the dialysis health care team under RN supervision. You will assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient status, and maintain a safe treatment environment.

The role involves recording vital signs, assisting with cannulation and UF goals per orders, and participating in CQI activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must meet CMS/state certification requirements where applicable.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of dialysis machines.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status during treatment.
• Record treatment data accurately onto sheets and systems.
• Assist with cannulation and UF goals as prescribed by the physician.
