Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated dialysis technician to join our care team. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will set up and operate hemodialysis machines and help maintain a safe, clean patient environment.

You will monitor patients during treatment, document vital signs and treatment parameters, assist with access evaluation, and participate in CQI activities to improve patient outcomes. A high school diploma and state certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Educate patients on adequacy measures and disease processes.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and document vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Evaluate and monitor vascular access and activation of safety alarms as prescribed.
• Record treatment data and ensure accuracy of documentation.
