Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a dedicated Dialysis Technician to support the dialysis health care team under a licensed nurse. You will help set up and operate hemodialysis machines, monitor patients, record vital signs, and ensure a safe, clean treatment environment.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, participation in CQI activities, and adherence to organization policies. A high school diploma or GED, CMS licensure, CPR certification, and prior patient care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CMS-approved state licensure and training may be required.
• Previous patient care experience in hospital or related facility preferred.
• CPR certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines per orders and safety protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, record treatment data, and report changes to RN.
• Assist in vascular access assessment and cannulation as delegated.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment environment and document in charts.
• Provide patient education on treatment adequacy measures.
