Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Hammond, IN seeks a Dialysis Technician (CCHT/CHT certified) to join our dialysis health care team under RN supervision. The role focuses on setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and maintaining a safe treatment environment.

The position is full-time, with rotating shifts possible from early morning through evening, Mon–Sat; benefits include tuition reimbursement, PTO, 401K match, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Dialysis experience required; CCHT/CHT certification preferred.
• Must be available Mon-Sat, 4am–9pm, rotating shifts.
• Full-time position, 36–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor hemodialysis machines and ensure safe practice.
• Record vital signs, weights, and treatment parameters on treatment sheet.
• Monitor patient status and notify RN or supervisor of changes.
• Assist in patient education and infection control.
• Prepare labs and handle supplies with CQI involvement.
