Fresenius Medical Care in Silver Spring, MD seeks a patient-focused dialysis technician to support safe, effective dialysis therapy under RN supervision. You will assist in setup and operation of dialysis equipment and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and completion of the in-house dialysis training program; CMS/state requirements apply. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $27.00 hourly plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience preferred in a hospital setting or related facility.
• Successful completion of the organization dialysis training program and CPR certification required.
• CMS/state certification requirements must be met within required timelines.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Provide patient education and monitor patient wellbeing during treatment.
• Take pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight, document findings.
• Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatment per orders and policies.
• Document all treatment data accurately in the clinical applications.
