Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Elkton, MD seeks a dialysis technician to join the care team under RN supervision. You will assist with setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patients during treatment, and ensure a safe, clean environment.

You will document treatments, participate in CQI activities, and support patient education. Requires high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and willingness to travel between facilities if needed; hourly rate $17–$27.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is required or maintained.
• Experience with dialysis care and patient education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis equipment per orders.
• Monitor patient during dialysis and respond to alarms or changes.
• Record vital signs, treatment data, and medication administration as prescribed.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment area and assist with infection control.
