Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Mississippi seeks a dialysis technician to support the health care team by setting up and operating hemodialysis machines under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and participate in CQI activities to improve patient outcomes.

You will educate patients, monitor vital signs, cannulate vascular access as directed, and document treatment details.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• CPR certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dialysis education and patient care under RN supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; evaluate vascular access pre- and post-treatment.
• Initiate and discontinue dialysis per orders; manage UF goals and treatment parameters.
• Document treatment data accurately; report changes to the RN or supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a safe, clean environment.
