Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification required.
• Experience in patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor patients during treatment.
• Record vital signs, dialysate and blood flow parameters, and document treatments accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control policies.
• Assist in education and transition of patients regarding dialysis care and self-management.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the licensed nurse or supervisor.
