Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Joliet Clinic is seeking a dedicated dialysis technician to join our team. This full-time role (40 hours/week) requires no prior dialysis experience; on-the-job training is provided to ensure safe, effective patient care and adherence to clinic protocols.

You’ll work on a rotating schedule with early start times and will support setup, monitoring, and documentation of dialysis treatments under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Welcome assigned patients and inquire as to their wellbeing since their last treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access for patency and perform vascular access cannulation under supervision.
• Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders and monitor patient response.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and report changes to the nurse or supervisor.
