Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Delaware is seeking patient-focused health care assistants to join our dialysis team. On-the-job training is provided, with 12 weeks of paid training to become nationally certified, and a pay increase upon certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must meet CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
• Welcome patients and monitor wellbeing during treatment.
• Record vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• Support CQI activities and patient education as directed.
