Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated dialysis technician to join our clinical team. You will collaborate with licensed nurses to set up and operate hemodialysis machines, monitor patient status, and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld throughout each treatment.

You will educate patients, assist with safety protocols, and participate in infection control and quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care within a hospital or dialysis setting preferred.
• CPR certification or training required.
• Knowledge of dialysis procedures and safety protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assess wellbeing before and during treatment.
• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines per prescribed orders.
• Cannulate vascular access and monitor patency as directed.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe dialysis environment and report issues to RN or supervisor.
• Assist with infection control and CQI activities as applicable.
