Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to support safe and effective dialysis therapy under RN supervision. You will assist in setup/operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor vital signs, and ensure a clean, safe treatment environment. Training is provided as part of on-the-job development.

The role emphasizes patient education, proper documentation, and collaboration with the care team to support quality care and CQI activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required or preferred.
• Dialysis training program is mandatory for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Perform pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight measurements.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and administer heparin as delegated.
• Monitor and document patient treatment parameters and outcomes.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and equipment readiness between treatments.
• Assist with education and coordination of patient care during dialysis sessions.
