Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated dialysis technician to join the care team in Irvington, NJ. You will assist in setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, monitor patients during treatment, and document vital signs and treatment data under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include patient education, adherence to infection control practices, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatments and high-quality care for all patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CPR certification required.
• CMS/state licensure requirements as applicable in state.
• Previous patient-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Provide patient education and monitor treatment parameters.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data accurately.
• Maintain infection control practices and keep equipment clean and safe.
