Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CMS/state certification within timeline; appropriate state licensure, education, and training.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate dialysis machines and monitor patients during treatment.
• Provide patient education on adequacy measures and game plan for care.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters accurately.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness; participate in CQI and infection control activities.
• Assist with cannulation and administration of heparin as delegated.
• Document treatment details and report changes to supervising RN or physician.
