Job summary

Concerto Renal Services in New Jersey is seeking a PRN Dialysis Technician to join its team. The role provides safe dialysis therapy under a licensed nurse, performing patient care and operating machines in a per diem schedule.

You will monitor vitals, document treatments, manage lab specimens, and ensure a clean, safe environment. Requirements include high school diploma, current CPR, dialysis certification, and at least two years of dialysis technician experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification or completion upon starting.
• Minimum of two years of dialysis technician experience.
• Dialysis certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse, initiating and discontinuing dialysis per orders.
• Obtain and document pre- and post-treatment vitals, weight, and vascular access assessments.
• Set up, operate, and safety-check hemodialysis machines; administer heparin as permitted by state law.
• Accurately document treatment details and prepare lab specimens as prescribed.
• Deliver excellent service to patients, families, and staff while maintaining a clean, safe environment.
