Job summary

Concerto Renal Services is seeking a PRN Dialysis Technician to join our team in a sub-acute hemodialysis setting within a skilled nursing or long-term care facility. The role requires hands-on patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse and adherence to state and federal regulations.

The technician will set up, operate, and monitor dialysis machines, document treatment details, collect lab samples, and maintain a safe, clean environment while delivering excellent patient and family

Qualifications

• Hands-on patient care and safety under supervision.
• Monitoring vitals and documenting findings per protocol.
• Operating and maintaining hemodialysis equipment and related safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, initiating and discontinuing dialysis per orders.
• Obtain and document pre- and post-treatment vitals and weight; report anomalies.
• Set up, operate, and check dialysis machines; administer heparin as allowed by state law.
• Accurately document treatment details and prepare lab specimens as prescribed.
• Deliver excellent service to patients, families, and staff while keeping the environment clean and safe.
