Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within state CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• Demonstrates commitment to organization values and customer service standards.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related facility preferred.
• Dialysis training completion and CPR certification required for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor safety alarms.
• Evaluate patient wellbeing and respond to intradialytic issues.
• Record vital signs, weights, treatment data, and machine settings.
• Document treatment details and report changes to RN or supervisor.
• Assist in training direct patient care staff under RN supervision.
• Maintain infection control practices and environmental cleanliness.
